Showcase your property better with the updated Content API
We’ve made a number of changes to the Content API based on feedback we’ve received from you, our Connectivity partners. These changes will improve content management and boost the performance of your properties.
All cancellation policies are now available
We’ve added all possible cancellation policies to the Content API. We strongly recommend that partners set a fully flexible cancellation policy. Our data shows that offering guests the option of cancelling anytime lowers the barrier to booking and thus increases conversion.
Existing listings remain open bookable when changing property names
You no longer need to take an existing Booking.com listing offline when changing the name of the property. This means the property can remain open bookable during the transition, given that the ownership, the legal entity ID, does not change.
See the most popular facilities and amenities
You can now find the most searched-for facilities and amenities listed in our documentation. These are the facilities that guests on Booking.com are most likely to search for when booking accommodation.
Highlight sustainability in your listings
In 2019, 55% of global travelers reported being more determined to make sustainable travel choices than they were a year ago. In response to this, we added a number of amenities so that you can communicate your current sustainable practices – like eliminating single-use plastics or encouraging towel reuse – to your prospective guests. This update is a first step in our new sustainability program. We will continue to add to it in the future.
